The itinerary begins with your arrival at the airport in Beijing and ends with your transfer to the Hong Kong airport for your departure home. When making your travel arrangements, please keep in mind that the majority of flights to China from the United States arrive the following day and flights back to the United States arrive the same day.
Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to New Otani Chang Fu Gong Hotel or similar for check-in.
Day 2: Beijing
This morning, walk in Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and visit the Imperial Palace (Gugong), the once Forbidden City, with its over 9,000 elaborately carved and colorfully painted rooms, gardens, theaters, temples and exhibition galleries that was the home of Chinese emperors for almost 500 years and a testament of imperial China's splendor and lavishness. Then, visit the scenic grounds of the Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), whose apartments feature jewel-encrusted furniture and precious objects. Tonight, the renowned Peking Duck Feast will be served. Day 3: Beijing
Today, visit one of the "Eighth" Wonders of the World, the great fortification built to prevent invasion by barbarians - the magnificent Great Wall. Walk on this "Wall of 10,000 Miles," which took 10 years and more than a million laborers to build, from where enemy attacks were signaled to the capital by beacon fires. In the afternoon, visit 2008 Summer Olympic venue "Bird Nest" - China's National Stadium. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Beijing
Enjoy a full free day at leisure for shopping. (B)

Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an
Take morning flight to the ancient capital of 11 dynasties of China, Chang'an (now Xi'an), rich in historical sites. During the Tang Dynasty, Chang'an was the largest city of the world, the starting point of the Silk Road. Afternoon tour includes the ancient City Wall and Provincial Museum. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Xi'an
Today, visit the astonishing army of the life sized Terracotta Warriors that have been standing guard by the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang for over 2,000 years. In the evening, enjoy Dumping Dinner & Tang Dynasty Performance. (B, L, SD)
Day 7: Xi'an - Guilin
This morning, transfer to airport for flight to Guilin, whose unusual landscape looks like scroll after scroll of Chinese paintings. Afternoon tour includes Piled Silk Hill and Seven Star Park. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Guilin
According to experienced Chinese travelers, "If the beauty of Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, then the beauty of Yangshuo's landscape is the best in Guilin." After breakfast, ride the cruise down the Li River with Yangshuo at the end of the journey. Get the feeling of traveling within a Chinese painting and leisurely gather a lasting impression of the varied landscape as described by the Tang scholar and writer Han Yu, "The River is like a green silk belt, and the hills are like turquoise jade hairpins." Day 9: Guilin - Hong Kong
Morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon, visit Fubo Hill, and then drive to airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, meet our representative in airport, and take shuttle bus to hotel for check-in. (B)

Today is free at leisure. (B)
Day 11: Hong Kong - U.S.A.
Bid China farewell and take shuttle bus to airport for the flight back to your lovely home. (B)
